Janet and family,
You have my deepest sympathy on Dave's passing. I think I last saw him at the time of my father's (John Kirsch) funeral in Feb. 2016. I enjoyed my short visit with him at that time.
I really enjoyed the years working with him at the Dyersville National Bank. He was a delight to be round.. We had such fun dancing the twist together at the annual Dubuque County dairy banquets back in the day. LOL!
My condolences and blessings to you at this time of loss.
Selena Omega (nee Jane Kirsch)

Dear Janet and family,
We are expressing our sincere sympathy to you Janet and family as you walk in the valley of darkness upon the death of your husband Dave. We will offer our prayers of support for all of you. I just recall seeing Dave so vibrant in his Knights of Columbus attire walking in many a church procession. There wasn't a time when our paths crossed that he didn't say to me, "Miriam, thank you for all the good works you do for people in this world." I am so blessed to have every card he sent me from the Knights and his special message of thanks is foremost in my thoughts tonight as we bid our fond farewell to a cornerstone of our community. Dave did much, but said little about his good works. His faith told him, God knows and sees me and that is all that counts.
Once again we are so sorry for all of you. Now Dave rests in peace and he is reaping the rewards for all the good deeds and good life he lead on this earth. Thoughts of caring, Janet and family. Sincerely meant Miriam Eick

Janet and Mike
So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He sure was a good cook, I remember all those meals he would cook for the Ressler christmas dinners, good memories. I also remember his smile, always had one to offer everyone he came in contact with. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Janet and family - We were so sorry hear of Dave's passing.
He added much to this world and for that we are very grateful. I worked with Dave at the bank and he made each day fun with his attitude and sense of humor.
May God bless you and comfort you during this very sad time.
