Loraine A. Lehman, 78, of Worthington, Iowa died Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa. Survivors include her children, Mike (Gail) Lehman of New Vienna, Deb (Harlan) Johnson of Monticello, Denny Lehman of Denver, CO and Pat (Mike) Columbo of Seattle, WA, 9 grandchildren: Jake (Sandy), Joe (Monica), Jeremy and Jason Lehman, Jolene(Lance Taylor) and Juneau Johnson, Jennifer and Melissa Lehman, and Brian Farmer, 4 great grandchildren; 2 siblings: Bertha (Carl) Starr of Manchester, John (Janice) Kammerman of Kentucky, In laws: Mary Kammerman of Texas, Gib Lehman of Farley, Joe (Kay) Lehman of Cascade and Ann Marsh of Anamosa, and a very special friend, Rosie (Leo) Heid of Hopkinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald, 3 brothers: Al, Diz and Richard Kammerman, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Friends may call from 2-8 pm Monday, December 6, 2010, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa where a parish scripture service will be held at 5:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Worthington, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Loecke with Deacon Fred Pins assisting. Loraine was born on January 11, 1932, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Benhard and Ethel (Young) Kammerman. She married Gerald R. Lehman on June 6, 1952, in Monticello, Iowa. Together owned and operated J & L Lumber in Worthington for 20 years. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1994. She also served her community as a sacristan at St. Paul parish for 15 years.
