Our deepest sympathy to you, Lawrence, and your family. So glad we had a chance for a brief visit at the church in Petersburg a year ago. Who thought it would be our last visit? I will always remember all the wonder fun times we Deutmeyer cousins had together, at Gramma and Grampa's house, at the Funke house and at our farm. You are all in our prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Lansing and Funke families. Rita was a huge part of the Vorwald family as we were growing up! We loved her so much and really enjoyed spending time at the Funke farm! I remember how it broke my heart when she got married and moved away! She was a wonderful woman with an amazing smile and a beautiful heart! Heaven certainly gained an angel today!❤️

You have my deepest sympathies. Please know that the entire Lansing family is in my thoughts and prayers. Rita was a wonderful woman and I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. I truly enjoyed stopping by the farm with dad as a kid and running into Rita at Grandma and Grandpa's. You all have our deepest sympathy. We will miss talking to her at the music along the river in Guttenberg on Friday nights during the summer. We are so glad we had the Funke reunion - we were all together and the cousins and aunts took a great picture. She called us the night after the reunion and thanked us for planning the reunion - that was really nice of her to call. We had a good chat with her and Lawrence Sunday (July 14th). They pulled into Pizza Ranch when we were pulling out so we turned around and talked to them for quite a while. I had a coupon for pizza ranch I gave them. We had our car and she asked how often we wash it to keep it looking so nice. Lawrence said he doesn't wash his any more - but he used to wash it before he would pick Rita up for a date. She said she always washed there vehicles after they got married. Lawrence said she always did a good job of keeping them clean. A Little Hug- When ever you are feeling sad & things aren't going right & your usual happy smile has slipped out of sight - Here's a little hug from us if we cannot be there- Because we want you to know just how much we care.
