I’m so sorry for your loss. Something I find comforting is the promise in the Bible from God, that he will always comfort us and help us endure. Psalms 34:18,19 says: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Many are the hardships of the righteous one, but Jehovah rescues him from them all.” It’s so comforting to know that even though we face losses, we can rely on God to help us. God also promises us in the Bible that one day he will take away this pain, and we will be able to be reunited with our loved ones, here on the earth. John 5:28,29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,”. He gives us a hope for the future, but also comfort now until we can see our loved ones again on earth.

Dear Mary Jo and Family,
So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was seriously the nicest, most patient woman in the world. She made your home a wonderful place for teenagers to just hang out and have fun. Many prayers for all of you during this difficult time.

To the family of Mary,
Skye and I would like to send our deepest condolences to the entire Arens family.
Skye Arens (12) is Mary’s great granddaughter— Rick Arens granddaughter. Mary found great joy in Skye’s company and always made sure to send her a little something during the holiday season along the years. Mary would share with me how she couldn’t get over how beautiful Skye’s deep auburn red hair was. She said it sure reminded her of Rick’s hair! Mary was such a strong woman who cared deeply for her family. She was an amazing woman! Skye and I’s thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
All the Best,
Megan Kluga (Zuccaro)

Steve and Mary Jo, my deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your mom. I will miss seeing her at all the baseball games, esp. the Dyersville Tournament. It was always so nice to catch up on what was going on with your family from your mom. She always had great stories to tell. y7HTp

My deepest condolences. Please take comfort in knowing that soon God will reunite us with our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death. John 5: 28 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time when God will wipe out all death, suffering, mourning, outcry and pain forever, a time we can all look forward to.
