While it has been ages since I last saw Bruce, it seems like yesterday that we played various high school athletics together. Bruce was gifted in many areas in both the classroom and ball fields. I also have fond memories of the summer we built grain bins together. May your family find solace in he touched peoples' lives.

Oh, my! I taught Bruce in 5th-6th grade at Alta. In the mid to late 80's my late husband and I met him when we were thinking of constructing a building on our farm (near Hopkinton). Bruce recognized me, but not thinking I would be in Eastern Iowa, asked if I had a twin sister who taught in western Iowa. I had seen his nameplate, but couldn't imagine it was the Bruce I knew...until he asked and I looked at him. He surely was the same Bruce!! So sorry to read of his death...he was a super student and a caring and considerate student. Blessings to you all as you grieve an awesome human being!!!
