My deepest condolences, my heart goes out to the family and friends of Betty during this difficult time of loss. Remember you are never alone, Psalms 55:22 tells us: “Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you.” He promises to soon reunite us with our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28).

Thinking a lot of Aunt Betty. One of my favorite people and so many memories. Betty was pretty and fun and nice to me. We loved her visit to California and many card games together. She will be missed but she is in heaven and happy.
My sympathy to her family, she was so loved.

I am so sorry for your loss. Death is perhaps the saddest thing we face in this world, the only comfort we have is the hope the Bible gives us for the future, where God promises that soon “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out,” (John 5:28) and we will be reunited with our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death. Soon we can be certain that “The last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing,” (1 Corinthians 15:26).

It always nice to see Betty in church etc.. when we were back in Dyersville. I am sorry to not be able to attend but you are all certainly in thought and prayer. Knowing how much she loved her family will hopefully be of comfort in the following times. Glad we have the Hermsen reunions as that was the last time I visited with Betty.

Betty was a beautiful soul and I always enjoyed talking with her. My last memory of her was at the Hermsen Christmas in December when she, my Mom and Nancy stole my phone for a selfie. It was a beautiful picture of your Mom and I’m so glad it was captured. She will surely be missed.
