Obituary of Scott Lee Sutterman

Visitation will be Sunday January 30, 2011 from 3 until 6 p.m. at Kramer Funeral Home, Monticello, Iowa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monticello, Iowa Scott L. Sutterman, 50, of Federal Way, WA and formerly of Rock Island, IL, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, as the result of an accident on his property. Scott was born March 25, 1960, in Rock Island, IL the son of Lawrence "Larry" and Caroline "Kay" (Joy) Sutterman. He graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island with the Class of 1978, and from St. Ambrose University in 1982 with a degree in Business Administration. While in school he began working with FedEx. After graduation he held positions with a few other companies, finally returning to a career with FedEx. He was currently a sales manager in the Seattle office. Scott loved sports of all types including playing golf, fishing and cheering on the Hawkeyes. He is survived by his 2 daughters: Kelli Sutterman of Cedar Rapids and Brittany Sutterman of Miles, mother and step-father, Kay (Bob) Eilers of Monticello, 2 brothers: Steven (Tammy) Sutterman of Monticello and Jeffrey (Beth) Sutterman of Frederick, MD; a special friend, Lynderle Pineda of Federal Way, WA; 4 nephews and 1 niece; 2 aunts: Marian (Larry) Harksen of Moline, IL and Patricia (Jerry) Vietti of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Larry Sutterman.
