I am truly sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in the fact that soon God will “Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces” (Isaiah 25:8). May the God of all comfort help you to endure during this difficult time of sorrow.

Jerry & Jeanine, so very sorry to hear that Joe passed away. I served on a jury with him once and he was very kind to help me with the jury crew. It was a difficult case and he offered to assist and I appreciated his help. I believe he is with the Lord and we will meet him again someday. Prayers for peace & strength for all of you. You have my deepest sympathy. Kari and Jeff Wittmeyer

So sorry to hear of Joe passing. Although we lost touch many years ago, I have good memories of our time together in Boy Scouts and then at ISU. Our deepest condolences to the entire family.

Even though Joe and I weren't related, we felt a special bond because we shared the same last name. He used to ask me to proofread his letters to the editor because I'm an English teacher. Truth is, they rarely needed any correcting! We'd get together for lunch a couple of times a year and solve all the world's problems over a pizza.
I will definitely miss Joe. My sympathies to his family.

Joe was a very talented man I first met at Interstate Power. Didn’t even realize we were cousins!
When I had problems working on roof top AC units, he was the one person who would help me with complicated wiring diagrams.
Joe was a leader in green energy technology.
He built and installed the first Geothermal slinkies in the tristates for his own home. This technology was invented by Pennsylvania Power and Light.
This past fall he help my wife and I decide to install solar in our home and who and how to do it.
My condolences to the family. I will miss Joe.

I was sadden to hear that Joe passed away. Know that I am keeping your family in my prayers. I have some fond memories of Joe in high school and when he was dating Theresa. I was the one who set them up on a blind double date. Joe was always kind to me and I will be forever thankful that I knew him. It seems life has a way of taking those we care about to soon.
I wish I could be there on Tuesday to say how sorry I am, but work does not allow me time for friends who have died. Just know that he will be missed.
