We wish to express our sincere condolences for your loss. Sadly, sooner or later we all have to deal with the loss of someone close to us. When that happens, we all look for a source of comfort as we grieve, help to ease the pain, the sense of emptiness. Revelation 21:4 speaks of a future time when all suffering and even death itself will be things of the past. Think of being reunited with dead loved ones in a cleansed earth. May you find comfort in this and may it give hope for the future.

Janet - My condolences to you and your family. I loved greeting Wayne whenever I saw him in the halls or dining area at Bartels. My Dad, Larry, enjoyed Wayne's company at their dining table. It was a shock to hear of his passing. May the Lord comfort you at this time.

Janet and family. We are so sorry to hear about Wayne. Even though our time spent with him was limited, he was always so friendly and kind, with a great smile. You are all in our prayers and hope you can find comfort in knowing he is at peace.

Dear Janet, Jill, and Susie and Family, Our Heavenly Father said to Wayne, "Come with Me into the Heavenly Kingdom and suffer no more". Wayne embraced his Maker as a man of deep faith and conviction knowing his rewards would far outweigh the pain he has endured. The pain of loss remains for you Janet, Jill, and Susie and extended family, and we express our sincere heartfelt sympathy to each of you as you walk in the valley of darkness. Wayne has seen the great light and we can find peace and comfort knowing that. When we learned at the library that Wayne had passed, there were gasps among the three of us who worked with and knew Susie-Shirley, Kim, and myself. We remember those days Susie. Prayers and thoughts as you mourn the death of such a good and gracious man. I can hear his voice and feel his gentleness especially when I called to leave messages from the library. Book on hold for Janet, Wayne. Miss you. Miriam

I will miss your calm, loving, and supportive presence. Your life had great purpose and you will be missed. You were a great example of what a husband should be. Your love story is one for the record books. Your daughters and grand daughters are shining examples of your parenting.
I will always recall the laughter you brought too. For example, the story of how you would bring a silver tray to the hotels so when you went to gather breakfast for your wife Janet, you'd get some good reactions. You'd be bringing it back to the hotel room to her in such style. You liked how the other wives would elbow their husbands and give them snide comments. it made you chuckle. That story will always make me smile each time I see a hotel breakfast.
My heart goes out to your family Janet, Jill , Susie, Mike, Jason and the granddaughters. Know that we are all here for your today and the days/years to come.

I remember staying overnight as a kid and Wayne would take us uptown to pick out any movie Susie and I wanted even the girly movies! I enjoyed staying over because everyone was so hospitable! He will be missed greatly but so many memories we will all cherish and treasure forever.
