Dear Kruse family,
Our condolences to all of you at this time. We both have fond memories of Martin. Upon meeting my husband for the first time he introduced him to the drink "waterball", which of course he told Peter was Jane's dad's drink, at the Petersburg hall where he continued to reminisce about my dad and Petersburg:) Peter always has a smile when remembering those times.
May your family & faith continue to help you through this difficult time.
xox,
Jane(Klostermann) & Peter Cobb

Karen and family. We send our heartfelt sympathy during this difficult time. What a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and role model. I will always remember your dad with fondness, I loved chatting with him. From the first time I met your folks back in college I could always tell he loved his family, faith and farming. May his hardworking soul find peace and comfort for eternity.

We pray for peace in your hearts, Comfort for your sorrow & Love to get you through this difficult time! You all have our deepest sympathy. Wow where do we start. All the great memories. Tom loved the 7 years he was a hired man at the Kruse farm. We always referred to Martin as Tom's 2nd dad. When ever we did anything to our house in Petersburg we always talked it over with Martin to get his advice. We will sure miss his great smile and laugh. When ever he would see Tom he would say " Mensen" or he would call him little Floyd and tell us stories and shake his finger. What great laughs we had. No matter how busy he was if he was driving through Petersburg and we were outside he always had time to pull in and talk. He would always let us borrow things he would say Mensen you know where its at. I remember the night Sara & Martin danced to the song Daddys hands! What a great dad and lots of great memories. Best of all he loved my home made bread.
