Obituary of RoseMary Ann Frericks
DYERSVILLE, IOWA
RoseMary A. Frericks, 91 of Dyersville, Iowa passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville. Visitation will continue Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Kramer Funeral Home prior to funeral services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dennis Conway will officiate.
RoseMary was born June 7, 1926 in Dyersville, Iowa the oldest child of 15 children to Edward and Marie (Kluesner) Bartels. She married LaVerne A. Frericks on September 20, 1958 in Dyersville. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1976. RoseMary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished time with her 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and had a special bond with each one of them. She loved to play Bingo and cards and praying the Rosary.
Survivors include one son, Jeff (Beth) Frericks of Gurnee, IL, 5 daughters: Ann (Ron) Domeyer of Earlville, Sue (Terry) Huberty of Clearwater, FL, Mary Jo (Terry) Goerdt of Bettendorf, IA, Peggy (Tim) Pirc of Charlotte, NC and Sally (Brad) Milz of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren: Jason (Jenny) Domeyer, Melissa (Lucas) Payne, Jenna (Rick) Duddeck, Zach (Jacque Manternach) Domeyer, Jonathan and Lauren Frericks, Sara and Kyle Huberty, Kelli (Nathan) Johnson, Casey and Michael Goerdt, Molly (Joe) Medlin, Rebecca, Makenzie and Rachael Pirc, Joshua, Matthew and Tyler Milz, great grandchildren, Parker, Autumn, Blake, A.J., Hunter Domeyer, Myles and Kian Payne, Jordan, Kennedy and Quinn Duddeck and Wyatt Medlin, siblings: Emily, Joan, Dale and Bill Bartels, all of Dyersville, Doris Crow of Dubuque, Patricia Bartels of Elk Horn, WI, Marlene (Steve) McAleer of Monticello, Bevlin Bartels of Hazel Green, WI, Joyce (Frank) Caruso of The Villages, FL, John Bartels of Moore, OK, Nancy (Burt) Fairchild of Woodbury, MN, in-laws:Velma Frericks and Ruth Frericks both of Dyesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband LaVerne, her parents, parents-in-law, Edward and Margaret Frericks, several nephews, siblings and in-laws: Myrna and Chuck Carty, Phyllis Bartels, Kay and Roy Krapfl, Bill Crow, Jean Bartels, Helen (Witte) Bartels, Helen and Jim Bell, Rosemary and Howard Konzen, Elmer Frericks and LeRoy Frericks.
