This is for you 3 girls, especially. Keri, Jenny, Michelle:
Your mom loved you all so much and was so proud of each of you! You each have such special qualities and I see some of her in each of you. She was generous, loving, kind, so much fun.I can still hear her laugh and I always tried to be funny so she would laugh! We had so many good times! She was compassionate, a true friend to me and even when we were apart, we could always pick back up where we left off. Always remember how much she appreciated all your efforts to help her these last tough years! That picture she sent me when you were all together after 5 years meant so much to her. I was glad she shared it with us! So many memories with your family. We treasure those and I know you treasure your memories of your mom. Choose to remember the good and when she was well and herself. It's so hard to just have that stop for you and I wish I could take away your pain. All I could do was help in any way she asked and be there for you and her.
May your families comfort sustain you and the knowledge that she loved you with her whole heart. She didn't want to leave you but she ran out of strength. Take care and please keep in touch! We are here for you always!
We love you to the moon and back!

Thank you to all of you for embracing your moms wishes to spend her last months including us. We found it a great honor to be chosen to support and be there with your family as much as possible. It seems too little now but am so thankful that she came to me and asked for help. You all pitched in so beautifully with whatever you could do. Marla has been a very special friend of mine for MANY years. In fact we could always pick up right where we left off! We had so many similar interests and spent many hours planning each others gardens. I learned so much from her. We enjoyed you girls so much growing up! We did so many things with your mom & dad as did many others. We just enjoyed their company and the guys had similar interests too! Odelia, you've been a special mom to all these children and I always enjoyed your similar kindness and love. You are a wonderful person. Lisa, Patrice, Kimmie, Sharon, Dianne, Cathy, those were a tough few weeks but I thank you all for your special love and kindness to me. Your sister was the kind of sister I would have wanted. She adored all of you for your special qualities and all you poured into her care. Yes, we all wanted a better outcome but you all did everything you could. Cathy, although I didn't see you, Marla talked about you being there and what you did. She fought a hard battle and prevailed for so long! She was so determined to get to the apartment and it's hard to go by it now and wish she would have made it. We had so many plans, to go see the leaves up north and go for drives and have another slumber party and invite some of you and the girls! I truly believe those plans kept her positive. The plans we talked about for the paradise earth were special too. We wanted to be there together and share in making the earth a paradise. She wants to be there especially with all of you. Her faith was firm in her heart and mind. We watched many videos form the website together. They are available for the whole world. There was one special one she wanted all of you to see. Just very short but she wanted so bad to have the energy to share it herself. She asked me to do it for her. Perhaps if any of you like, I can share that with you one by one some day. My heart aches for all of you. You have suffered too much loss lately. But, she hoped to one day see Debbie, Rochelle. her dad and others in a time of no more death, pain and sorrow on a perfect earth. She wants you all to be okay and remember the good times. There are alot of them!
Again, I thank you for the time I had with her in the end. May you draw strength from the Bible and each other. Know I think of you all daily and now miss you too!
Proverbs 17:17 "A true friend shows love at all times, and is a brother who is born for times of distress".
I love you all!

We wanted to send you our condolences for the loss of Marla. Marla was always a very kind and happy person. It is always sad to see our loved ones suffer and die. As Marla would have told you, soon this will change. We no longer will face the sorrow of death. Marla told me the Sunday before she passed away that her favorite scripture was
Revelation 21:3,4 which says: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'” What a beautiful time to look forward to.

Words cannot express our sadness at losing such a sweet and wonderful friend. Our hearts go out to her beautiful girls with whom we had many fun times when they were younger, her Mother who should never have to lose a child (let alone 3), and to her siblings who lost a sister, friend and part of their childhood. May the promised resurrection give you all comfort and hope at this sad time. (Rev.21:4) Heart hugs, Randy and Trudy

Dear Keri, Jenny , Michelle and Family, grieving for you all at this time of loss. I loved your mom who I considered my sister. First time I met your mom she was pregnant with Michelle. I got to witness this Prego smacking a golf ball down the fairway! What a sight She always made me feel welcomed and part of the family and our most treasured and memorable times back in Iowa was with her and you girls at the farm. I will miss her dearly and I will be praying for you all as you say your goodbyes and embrace the sweet memories of her.
