Pat and I extend sympathy to the family of Bill Bonert
Who is going to say "eat your peas"? He always scared the kids until they got to know that he was soft under that rough voice and fist hitting the kitchen table. Who is going too give you that "look" that says "shut up kid"? You knew when you saw that look it might be best too stop talking. Who is going to say "just a minute kid"? that was a trademark response of his. these are some of what comes to mind when you hear the name - Bill Bonert. He knew most everyone and always asked about them.
He'll be sadly missed by is brother - Jim who looked up to him for advise.
Jim Bonert

Please accept my sincere condolences to the Bonert family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. The Bible assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken in heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May your many memories help you find peace and comfort as you go through the coming days.

You all have our sympathy! Bill will be missed by all! We have lots of great memories of Bill! All the work he did for Ron & Sharon while Ron was sick! We ground feed for Ron & Sharon and Bill was always there when they needed him. From the times he hauled there hogs to Colesburg and always took Jacob along and made sure Jacob got a treat- (pop, Candy)! What a great grandpa. He helped with crops, cleaning pens- hauling the stuff away. How proud we are of him and all his hard work. And the time he paid for our breakfast at the Petersburg Parish Breakfast! We will never forget all the great things he did. All the times when the rest of Rons family were busy Jacob could always stay at Bill & Mary Anns they never turned him down. We love you all! Your in our thoughts & Prayers!
