I Knew Him All Too Little posted a condolence
Saturday, July 30, 2016
To his loved ones, his family and friends, and all who knew him, I offer my sincerest condolences. ‘Tis true that he can no longer grace us with his physical presence, nor comfort us with his caring touch, nor can his voice echo his stories, as only he could do. However, his spirit lives on in those whose lives he touched; he brings us comfort through the fond and lasting memories he created with each of us; and if we listen hard enough, we can still hear his words of wisdom. Though he will be greatly missed, Monroe will never be forgotten.

Monroe was my uncle. He was my Mom's younger brother. I never got to spend much time in my life with him, but what I do remember are very fond memories of a wonderful man. He was always happy and laughing and had a big smile on his face. Dell and the boys, you are all in my thoughts and heart at this sad time.

Monroe was a kind and caring man. He was like a dad to me, whenever he would see me he would get a big smile on his face. Just the way he said my name I could tell he really cared about me. My heart is heavy and my soul is sad.
