DYERSVILLE, IOWA
Mary Lou Foxen, 69, of Dyersville, and formerly of Dubuque died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Dyersville.
Visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 3 pm and a memorial service will begin at 7 p.m.
Mary Lou was born June 3, 1947, in Dubuque, the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Kramer) Boeckenstedt. She married Daniel Foxen on January 11, 1975, in Dyersville. He preceded her in death. She waitressed at the Swing Inn, and later for Dolly’s Office T. Most recently she worked in the deli at Walmart in Dubuque.
Survivors include 4 sisters: Ann Reinert of Petersburg, IA, Rosemary Weber of New Vienna, IA, Nancy (Dave) Feltes and Deb (Tom) Rubner, both of Worthington, IA; 4 brothers: Richard (Judy) Boeckenstedt, Thomas (Joan) Boeckenstedt and Frank (Marlene) Boeckenstedt, all of Dyersville, IA, and Donald (Connie) Boeckenstedt of Staunton, IL; 33 nieces and nephews and 65 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her life partner, Gary Deutsch, 1 sister, Doris Jean in infancy, 2 brothers-in-law, Alfred Reinert and Dale Friess, 3 nephews: Richard Boeckenstedt, Jr., James Weber, Christopher Reinert, and Michael Boeckenstedt.
