Of course I am partial to the tenants that enjoy activities at the Living Center and your Dad was one of them! He not only was up for any card game and eagerly filled in when needed, but he also organized and motivated others to play. This brought joy and purpose for several tenants who needed a little encouragement. He always had a smile and would gladly converse with anyone. He brought the beloved Lemon Sisters to us, a great time out at Carl and Elaine's, and directed me on several interesting country drives. I am so glad he chose to live here for his final chapter of his life. My deepest sympathy to all of you - Lili

Very sorry for the loss of your father. He will be greatly missed. You will have many long and loving memories of him to hold onto that no one can take from you. I wish my parents could of had many more years here to have enjoyed with them, but the Lord decided it was time for them to go, leaving a HUGH hole in my heart and life. Mom at 47 and dad at 65. Even though it's been 30 years, I still cry to think of her gone. So you are very blessed to have had time, love and a big family to create many good times, and lasting memories together.
You are in our thoughts and prayers and I would like to light a candle for you in his memory.
Be thankful unto thee, God Bless
Latricia & Terry Conrad

Our favorite memory of Charlie was him always pulling into Joan Recker's driveway & laying on that TRAIN horn until Joan hurried outside. If Joan didn't immediately come out he would get on the horn again. Several times I noticed Joan had just left.....and in would pull Charlie & lay on that horn, I'd walk over & tell him "she just left". He' d just wave & drive away. RIP Grandpa Charlie
