Jan, Just brushing thru old memories and decided to look at Obituary's in the area. I was surprised to see Tom's. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have tried a few times over the years to find you, but haven't been able to. This is not the way I had hoped to reach out to you, but for now its the best I can do. I do get back to the Guttenberg area every few years as that is where our son Brett is buried and Elaine is also buried next to him. I would like to hear from you.

Jan and family, I have many fond memories of Tom. He was my very first Boss at Ertls when I was running the Company Store. He was the captain of our bowling team and tried his best to help me with my average score of 60. On my 18th birthday I came to work and no body said Happy Birthday, I was so hurt until I opened the door to the company store and there was a big vase of flowers and a Happy Birthday note from Tom. Those were the first flowers anyone ever gave me. When I think of Tom, I smile. He was a great guy and I was lucky to know him.

Best wishes to you all. He was easy to like.
Back in the 1960s and 70s I knew Tom and was in the Lions Club with him.
Thanks for choosing Widner Drug Store to provide medications for Tom at The G.N. Home. Bob Sack

Sorry to hear of (coach) Tom's passing. I have many memories of playing for Tom in Little League for the Braves. Riding in the big green car with the CB radio (I think Tom's handle was The Shamrock if I'm not mistaken) was always a fun experience.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
