To Mary Beth, Bruce, Paul, and Gina, and other family members. Very sorry for your loss. I have a saying to share with you at this sad time. "Be not afraid, lest you shed tears of sorrow. for the tears shed today bring a brighter tomorrow. Make the brighter tomorrow be forever your goal, for we bury the body, but never the soul." Author unknown.
Thinking of you.

Grandma Rita meant more to me than anybody knows. She was such a wonderful person and I love her dearly. I'm very sad I can't make it to the services. God Bless Her and this wonderful family. I have so many great memories with her that will last a lifetime. Love you all, and am thinking about you all. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Rita was an incredible volunteer at Camp Courageous and in the community. From providing wonderful baked goods, to making quilts and afghans, to helping in the office, to donating fresh items from her garden…Rita was always there to serve, going back decades. Even after going blind in 1998, her desire to help others, never slowed. Rita was my savior the year I was in charge of the Lions Club Stand at the fair...she could make any disaster of mine, look good. Rita’s heart warming personality and spirit will live on at Camp Courageous and throughout the area. Thank you to Rita's family and friends that were there for her during her blindness...Rita was a friend to many...and she was blessed with many wonderful friends in return...
