I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. Ron always had a smile on his face and he loved to talk to us when we bumped into him over the year. Leroy is going to be out of town this weekend and I'm left to get the boys to their basketball games early afternoon today and all day tomorrow, so we won't be able to attend the services. Please know that we are praying for y'all. Leroy and Shilo Westhoff

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ron and his family. Ron was a wonderful man and brought much joy to many people's lives. It was great to have known Ron as an employee of Klostermann Bros. From being a little girl helping my Grandpa Floyd and Dad (Barry) at work, Ron always would take the time to talk to us kids no matter how busy his day was at work. He was always good for a good joke and to talk sports. He brought his best with him every day to work and I know he will be greatly missed at the store and in all aspects of life. Thanks for being such a great person to me and the Klostermann family, Ron. You will be missed. May you rest in peace!

It is with great sincerity that I offer condolences to Mr. Burkle's family and friends. I know his son Craig well and know how he adores his father and family. The values of integrity, courage, selflessness as well as love and dedication to family have been instilled in Craig if not fully then partially from Ron. Ron's personality will live on through those he loved.
"God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

I don't even know where to begin. The day I married Craig I not only gained the man of my dreams, I gained another amazing man, Ron. Calling Ron "Dad" is an honor. There was never a day that he didn't have a smile on his face. The love he had for life, for his children and for his grandchildren was contagious. Seeing Ron with my children has been very special for me and I will never forget those memories. Especially the day my 2 year old son got to sit in "Grandpa's truck." Ron had a heart of gold and we will miss our Dad and Grandpa dearly. All my love to this amazing family that I am so lucky to be a part of. XOXO. May you rest in peace "Captain Ron."

You all have our deepest sympathy! You are all in our thought & prayers!! We will miss Ron's smile everyday at Klostermann brothers! Tom worked with Ron at Klostermann Brothers for 26 years! We all had a lot of fun! Tom & Ron loved to joke around! Jill loved to scare Ron! From the time that she hid in his truck when he was eating dinner at the Detour- to the times she would hide in his spray truck and scare him. The Christmas party where we gave him Christmas boxers and he wore them over his pants all night. The late nights hauling feed and Ron would put his 2 way up to the radio so we could all enjoy the music he was listening to. The days he would come to work chirping up a storm you knew he had a good time the night before. Wow we will all miss him and his great smile! He was always in a good mood. He was such a hard worker! He could never be replaced! The late nights he would stay and transfer corn he could really cruise!! Tom said Ron really made work fun!! He thought the world of all of you kids and grandkids! He was always talking about going to the kids ball games and on vacation with you! He was such a great guy He will be missed by all! He will be an angle watching over all of us!

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ron's sudden death.
What a noble man...a great heart...with a warm smile.
I can only imagine how much you - his children and grandchildren, were the light of his life. I know you will miss him terribly.
I just realized that Ron's funeral will be on December 5th,
the same day as our mother, Luetta Burkle's, funeral was 25 years ago.
I will take comfort in knowing that George and Thelma, and Luetta,
and all the saints, will be welcoming Ron home.
May peace and love surround you all in these coming days.
My love and prayers are with you.
Love from Ron's oldest cousin,
Lou Ann Burkle
