Dear Janie, Jesse and Sherry,
Deep condolences to all of you and the rest of the family on the loss of your mother who was the most interesting person I knew growing up. I loved to sit at our kitchen table whenever she came to visit mom and listen to the two of them converse. Your mother's accent and way of expressing her outlook always fascinated me. I also loved her sense of style as a woman. My heart goes out to all of you in losing both your parents in such a short time. Truly they could not bear to be separated from one another! Their partnership was a joy to behold. God bless you Annie. Your infectious nature will always be remembered and missed. Love, Mary Beth Beckmann

Dear Tegeler Family,
I just want to say how sorry I am to hear of the loss of your Mother. I am the youngest of Jim and Marie Thiers children, but I remember your Mom and Dad very clearly. I loved how they would come and visit or we would meet them in town (since I was the youngest, I was able to tag along). They looked liked a couple straight out of Hollywood. Your Dad was a very handsome man and your Mom had a flair for dress. I also loved watching my Mom interact with your Mom and admiring how they adored each other. I couldn't completely understand at the time why they had such a strong connection, but loved seeing it all the same. I can only think of them all "up there" together and reconnecting once again.
May you find Peace in these days to come,
My Thoughts and Prayers are with you,
Jennifer (Thier) Suarez

Dear Jane,
Something that my sister, Margie, just reminded us (our brothers and sisters) is that when your mother came to Iowa as a young bride, our mother taught her how to cook. I had forgotten this story, but had always felt warmly towards your mom, dad and family. We looked forward to our family get-togethers, and remember those days very fondly. Jennifer, the youngest sister, mentioned in our email thread that they are all upstairs reminiscing those days and having fun, just like in the old days.
God Bless, and much love to you and your family ~

I remember Annie from visiting my grandparents on summer vacation, Louis & Clarinda Christoph, who lived across the alley behind the Tegeler body shop. She was always so kind to my Grandma and a lovely lady that I always looked up to. My condolences to her family.

Dear Jane,
I am so sorry to hear of the recent passing of your mother, and your father who passed in June. It's the end of an era, isn't it? They are both remembered fondly, Janie. I always felt that I could relate to them as friends, because they truly were people who were trusted and loved. Your mother was an elegant, beautiful woman who had courage and a zest for life. People gravitated towards her. She and your father were respected and admired for their kindness and sincerity. For me, they were examples of the perfect union, and I'm so grateful to have had them in my life.
Take care, Janie. Sending my deepest condolences and heart-felt blessings. Wishing you the best ~
Love,
Mary (Germaine) Thier (Parra)

To the Tegeler family;
Anna & Herb will be missed. The hand extended to me every time I met up with them. The great family values were passed on to you, and in the eyes of the community you will carry on.
I'm sure glad they had the Tegeler dairy truck come to the door, and a place to fix up a car, if needed, was Herb. I have very fond memories of them since I was young.
Take care, God Bless,
Julianne H. Avenarius & family
