Heather J. Ludovissy, 42, of North Buena Vista died Friday, May 20, 2011, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the Kramer Funeral Home in Holy Cross, and from 9 - 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the North Buena Vista Hall. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Buena Vista. Rev. Marvin Bries will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Heather was born May 20, 1969, in Jamestown, NY the daughter of Randy C. and Carol (Kidd) Luce. She graduated from Randolph Central School in Randolph, New York and also from Southeastern Academy in Kissimee, Florida with a degree in Travel and Tourism. She married Henry J. Ludovissy on October 12, 2002, in North Buena Vista. Together they raised three wonderful children, Ron, Bobby and Lacey. She was previously employed with Big River Marketing in Guttenberg and was currently the manager of the Stadium Bar and Grill. She was also a member of the Holy Cross Volunteer Rescue Squad as a Paramedic. Surviving are her husband, Henry, 3 children: Ronald C. Bailey, Robert D. Bailey and Lacey M. Bailey, all of North Buena Vista, IA, her parents, Randy and Carol Luce of Randolph, NY; 2 brothers: Randy (Debra) Luce, Jr. and Jeremy (Carrie) Luce, both of Randolph, NY, her maternal grandfather, William Kidd of Frewsburg, NY, and a paternal step-grandmother, Theresa Luce of Randolph, NY, parents-in-law, Don and Mary Ludovissy, of North Buena Vista, IA; 3 brothers-in-law; Lynn (Karen) Ludovissy, Dan (Kim) Ludovissy and Harvey (Mandy) Ludovissy, all of North Buena Vista, IA; 5 sisters-in-law: Arlus Keller of Bettendorf, IA, Alice (Duane) Phelps of Colesburg, IA, Aggie Lammers (friend, John Houston) of Marion, IA, Amy (Robbie) Vonderhaar of Osterdock, IA and Donna (Ken) Kuhlman, of Colesburg, and Phil's wife, Sherry Ludovissy of Dubuque, IA; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Kidd, paternal grandparents, Clyde and Jean Luce, two brothers-in-law, Phillip Ludovissy and John Keller.
