DYERSVILLE, IOWA
Kathy A. Foxen, 59, of Dyersville, Iowa died Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home.
Friends may call from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friends may continue to call from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Thursday, prior to funeral services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jeffrey Dole will officiate.
Kathy was born on October 2, 1955, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalen (Jaeger) Krogman. She graduated from Beckman High School with the Class of 1973. She married Dennis Foxen on September 14, 1974, in Dyersville. Kathy and Dennis enjoyed spending time in their park-like back yard doing the gardening, landscaping, and simply enjoying the environment. She took pride in teaching her grandchildren to live each day to the fullest with passion, energy and love.
She worked at Oak Crest Manor as a nurses aid from 1974 - 1990, then worked and managed IOCO for several years until joining the FarmTek team.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis, 2 sons: Andy (Adriana) Foxen of Dyersville, Tony (Kristi) Foxen of Epworth; 3 grandchildren: Drake, Ainsley and Haddie Foxen;
her siblings: Rose Greenwood of Farley, Mary Sorensen of Dubuque, Verla Turnis of Worthington, Vernon Krogman of Dyersville, James (Bev) Krogman of Worthington, Carol (Harold) Tibbetts of Mesquite, Nevada, Gary (Linda) Krogman of Dyersville, Richard (Debra) Krogman of Dubuque; in-laws, Helen Krogman of Dubuque, Darlene Hogan of Dubuque, Nancy Foxen of Jasper, IN, Diane Foxen and Lori (Brian) Wells, both of Dyersville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Helen (Gilbert) Bahl, Elwood (Eunice) Krogman, Tom Krogman, David Krogman, Leroy Krogman, Joseph (Toots) Krogman and Pearl (Lawrence) Roling, and Bonita Krogman; and in-laws: Harold Greenwood, George Sorensen, Richard Turnis, Raynette Krogman, Daniel and Duane Foxen.
