PETERSBURG, IOWA Paul C. Feldmann, 73, of Petersburg died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, Iowa. Friends may call from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. John O'Connor will officiate. Paul was born October 24, 1941, in Earlville, Iowa the son of Anton and Isabella (Jaeger) Feldmann. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Earlville and attended Loras College for a year and then served in the National Guard. He married Leanna Pfab on June 26, 1965, in Fillmore, Iowa. Together they farmed just north of Petersburg. Paul and then worked for various construction companies until 1967, when he began working at the Petersburg Feed Mill as a driver, and eventually became a co-owner. He was later employed by Carl's Feed Store in Manchester until his retirement in 2009. Paul loved woodworking and raising livestock, including chickens, four-wheeling and traveling across the country with his family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1734. Survivors include his wife, Leanna, 5 children: Jeff (Linda) Feldmann of Durango, Karen (Curt) Keppler of Strawberry Point, Randy (Kathy) Feldmann of Dyersville, Nancy (Mike) Smith of Earlville and Kenny Feldmann of Petersburg; 16 grandchildren: Jordan, Jake, Mallory and Madison Feldmann, Brittany (Tom) Wulfekuhle, Karissa (fiancé Nathan Risius), Clint (fiancé Sophie Lilja) and Chantel Keppler, Justin, Josh, Kelsey and Kaitlin Feldmann, Zachary, Mitch, Devin and Colin Smith; 1 great grandchild, Eden Wulfekuhle; 12 siblings: Theresa Burkle and Lavonne (Leander) Burkle, Irvin, Tony (Joyce), all of Earlville, Jerome (Mary Jane) of Dyersville, Floyd (Rita) and Elmer (Dorothy), both of Hopkinton, Celester (Joan) of Rickardsville, Dave (Sandy) of Alburnett, Loras (Mary) of Farley, Gerald (Barb) of Epworth, Dan (Barb) of Cedar Rapids in-laws: Jerry (Bev) Pfab of Waddell, AZ, Corinne (Joe) McQuillen of Epworth, Marion (Fred) Hentges of Peosta, Maxine (Denny) Dolphin, and Earl Pfab, both of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, William and Mary Pfab, one daughter, Brenda in infancy, in-laws, Leon Burkle and Loras (Darlene) Pfab, and a nephew, Keith Pfab.
