WORTHINGTON, IOWA
Joyce M. Digmann, 82, of Platteville, WI, and formerly of Worthington IA died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison, WI.
Friends may call from 3 - 8 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 3 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Worthington with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jeffrey Dole will officiate.
Joyce was born April 29, 1932 in Worthington, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Marie (Schwendinger) Hogan. She married Charles J. Digmann on October 13, 1952 in Worthington, Iowa. Together they raised 11 children, but later divorced.
She worked for Farm & Fleet in Platteville and LaCrosse for over 23 years retiring in 1997. Joyce was a member of St. Patrick Church in Onalaska, WI, the Shamrock Club, St. Rose Choir and was a volunteer for Cuba City Area Rescue Squad for 5 years.
Survivors include her children: Sherry (David) Grimes of Hazel Green, WI, Terry "Butch" (fiancé Cristi) Digmann of Anamosa, IA, Dean (Sherry) Digmann of Marion, IA, Rae Marie (Dan) Popp of Cuba City, WI, Randy (Lori) Digmann of Baraboo, WI, Debra Digmann Carroll of Platteville, WI, Patricia (Tim) Ginter and Paula (Charles) Donar both of Cuba City, WI, Charlie (Jodi) Digmann of Dubuque, IA, Dawne Digmann (friend Melissa) of Green Bay, WI, 30 grandchildren: 20 great grandchildren: siblings: Robert "Baldy" Hogan and Donna Wolfe, both of Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Douglas Digmann in 1973, siblings: James "Scab" Hogan, Patsy (Marvin) Gassmann, brother-in-law, Edgar "Ted" Wolfe and grandson, Franklin Charles Digmann.
Memorials may be directed to Homeless Shelters or the Salvation Army.
