I will miss my former golf playing partner very much. I'm glad I was at Dick's 87th birthday party this July. My brother taught me how to play golf, and we had many enjoyable rounds together on the courses in Iowa. I met Dick's sons and daughters again at his celebration after many years apart and found out that they were all very nice and I'm proud to have them in my family. Please accept my deepest sympathy in this time of great sorrow.

Robert and I send our thoughts and prayers to you Grace and family as you walk in the valley of darkness. Our community has lost a good man. Our library has lost a good man. We all will miss Dick coming into the library and sitting in his comfy chairs either reading the paper or a book.
