Survivors include his wife, Rita, of Petersburg, Iowa; five daughters: Nancy (Charlie) Velasquez of Muscatine, IA, Jane (Richard) Harders of Stewartville, MN, Julie (Jerome) Riniker of Luxemburg, IA, Susie (Bob) Salow of Earlville, IA and Tamara Domeyer (Peter Vaske) of Marion, IA; four sons: Rick (Karen) Domeyer of Petersburg, IA, Gary (Jean) Domeyer and Ron (Ann) Domeyer of Earlville, IA and Randy (Celia) Domeyer of Blue Earth, MN; 26 grandchildren; and one great-grand daughter. Seven brothers: Roland (Teresa) Domeyer of Dubuque, IA, Jim Domeyer of Manchester, IA, LaVerne (Ellen) Domeyer of Petersburg, IA, John (Shirley) Domeyer of Holy Cross, IA, Donald Domeyer of Petersburg, IA, Peter (Clarice) Domeyer of Dubuque, IA and Paul Domeyer of Delhi, IA; two sisters: Mary Lou (Loras) Gravel of Dyersville, IA and Doris (John) Burlage of Monticello, IA; two sisters-in-law: Marie Domeyer of Dyersville, IA, and Virginette Domeyer of Greeley, IA. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Milton H. and Daniel H., two sisters-in-law: Diane Domeyer and Lavon Domeyer, and one brother-in-law, Ralph Westhoff. Bill was born July 10, 1927, in Petersburg, IA the son of Andrew M. and Frances H. (Von Lehmden) Domeyer. He married Rita Westhoff on June 14, 1951 in Petersburg, Iowa. He was educated at SS Peter & Paul School in Petersburg, Iowa. They farmed near Manchester, Iowa until 1960. Since that time they have lived and farmed on the Domeyer Family Farm near Petersburg, Iowa. He was a past member of the ASCS Committee, Petersburg Centennial Committee, SS Peter & Paul School Board and the Beckman Endowment Board. Bill enjoyed watching his grandchildren's activities, his woodworking projects that he made for his children and grandchildren, his Allis Chalmers toy tractor collection, playing solo and euchre and watching the Chicago White Sox. Memorials may be directed to Beckman High School or SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
