Survivors include her 2 daughters: Elaine (Richard) Heiderscheit of Dubuque and Ann Hoeger of Dyersville; 2 sons: Mark (Jayne) Hoeger and Allen (Carol) Hoeger both of Farley; 6 grandchildren: Tim (Michelle) Heiderscheit, Kelly (Bob) Guns, Michelle (Jeff) Geistkemper, Matthew Hoeger and (fiancé` Amanda White), Nicholas and Christopher Hoeger; 5 great-grandchildren: Eric and Michael Heiderscheit, Morgan, Charlie and Sam Guns; 4 brothers-in-law: Herman Geistkemper, Charles Burkle, Fred (Irene) Hoeger and Tom (Marlene) Hoeger; 3 sisters-in-law: Anna Mae Tauke, Jean Friedmann and Phyllis Wille. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo on Aug. 19, 1973, 5 sisters: Marie Tauke, Annetta Geistkemper, Luetta Burkle, Irma and Inez (Ileen's twin) and 4 brothers: Ambrose, Leonard, Arnold and Herbert. An Ileen R. Hoeger Memorial Fund has been established and memorials are preferred. Ileen was born on January 31, 1925 in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Klostermann) Tauke. She married Leo H. Hoeger on April 5, 1948 at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville, Iowa. Ileen was a member of the St. Mary's Parish in Manchester and UAW Local 1982. She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
