Obituary of Ralph Kluesner

Survivors include four sisters, Helen Reardon of Chippewa Falls, WI, Sister Marian Kluesner, F.S.P.A. of El Paso, TX, Jean Kluesner of New Vienna, IA, and Elizabeth (Leonard) Leick of Epworth, IA; one brother, Robert (Bridget) Kluesner of Roseville, MN; Special Friend, Mary Althoff of Marion, IA, one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Kluesner of Dyersville, IA. And a number of nieces and nephews. Ralph was born on June 16, 1931 in New Vienna, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Luella (Buenker) Kluesner. He graduated from St. Boniface High School after which he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After his service he began working for John Deere Dubuque Works until retirement in 1987. Ralph was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Boniface Holy Name Society, Legion Post 137 and Local 94 of the UAW. He Enjoyed gardening and traveling and was a great sports fan, enjoying the Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Iowa Hawkeyes. The parish scripture service will be held Friday at 5 p.m., the Legion Post 137 Service at 7:00 p.m. and the COF Rosary at 8:00 p.m.at Kramer Funeral Home.
