Edna is survived by two sons: Dennis Gray of Monticello and Don (Joan) Gray of Central City; 10 Grandchildren: Mike, Sally, Rick, Jill, Elise, Erynn, Dustin, Ashley, Tyler and Ben; 5 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren; 2 step-sons: Richard (Delores) Gray of Cedar Rapids and David (Carolyn) Gray of Oklahoma; 1 sister, Olena Oltman of Monticello and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, W. Damon Gray in January of 1979, 6 brothers, Carl, Rudy, Lorenz, Donald, Bennie and Harold Zimmerman, and a great-granddaughter, Rylee Gray. Edna was born on April 30, 1910, in Monticello, Iowa the daughter of Ralph and Catherina (Harms) Zimmerman. She married W. Damon Gray on June 21, 1947 in Monticello.Edna was a nurse's aide at the John McDonald Hospital in Monticello for over 30 years and was a lifelong member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Monticello. She will be sadly missed by her family and in lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory.
